By Segun Precious

Tottenham Hotspur were losing 2-0 at a point last night in the UEFA Champions League but roared back to life to win 4-2 at home against Olympiakos.

Many would attribute the resurgence of the London side to the “Mourinho Effect”. Tottenham have been poor all season but have come alive in their last two matches since the Portuguese took over.

PSG also had a late fightback to draw 2-2 at Real Madrid as both sides advanced to the round of 16.

There was drama in Turkey as two Club Bruges players got sent off following their celebrations after an added time equaliser against Galatasaray. It ended 1-1.

Robert Lewandoski scored four as Bayern Munich thrashed Red Star Belgrade 6-0.

Locomotive Moscow lost at home to Bayer Leverkusen while Shakhtar Donetsk and Manchester City drew 1-1.
