Super Eagles play Cote D’Ivoire, Tunisia
The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has confirmed two friendly matches for the Super Eagles in the October FIFA window.
President of the NFF Amaju Pinnick confirmed in a series of tweets that Nigeria will battle the Ivorians on 9 October and Tunisia on 13 October.
Both matches will be played in Austria.
His words: “As we await the Federal Government’s pronouncement on the resumption of football, the Federation has been in active discussions about possible friendly matches and I’m happy to say we have finally sealed two high profile matches for next month…
“On the 9th of October, the Super Eagles will play former African champions, Cote D’Ivoire in a friendly game, then face another African giant and former champions Tunisia, four days later, on the 13th. Both games will be held in Austria for a few obvious reasons….”, he continued.
Amaju Pinnick further declared that the vacant Technical Director position and the technical crew of Super Falcons and the U-17 and U-20 men’s trams would be filled as Phillips Consulting is in charge of recruitments on behalf of the NFF.
