Qatar 2022 Qualifiers: FIFA Confirms Dates for Super Eagles, Others

World’s football governing body FIFA has confirmed dates for African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are in Group C alongside Cape Verde, Liberia and Central African Republic.

According to FIFA, the Super Eagles will commence the qualifying campaign in June at home against Liberia on the window of June 5-8 while the team will be away to Cape Verde on June 11-14.

The double-header against Central African Republic (CAR) will take place on September 1-4 at home while the return leg in CAR will take place on September 5-7.

The last two round of matches will take place on October 6-9 against Liberia and finally against Cape Verde at home on October 10-12.

The winner of the group will qualify for the final round of two-legged encounters with other table toppers scheduled for November 9-11 and November 14-15.
