The unification bout will have to wait. Anthony Joshua has just confirmed that he will defend his heavyweight titles against Dubrav Pulev.

On his twitter account, Joshua with two belts confirmed the bout and has become a global trend.

Former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has also exercised his rematch option against Tyson Fury and will take place in July.

Wilder- who was briefly hospitalised after the clash on February 22- activated the rematch clause even before the end of the mandatory 30 days. Bob Arum, Tyson’s manager confirmed that they have received and accepted the offer.

The Joshua/Pulev heavyweight bout could hold at the Tottenham Stadium in London though Arsenal’s Emirates is thought to be in the running.

Joshua has not fought on home soil for two years now after his 7th round brutal knock out of Aleksander Povetkin. He has fought in New York where he lost to Andy Ruiz Jr and Saudi Arabia where he retained his titles.

Official confirmation comes in a few hours.
