Chelsea Busy Summer Transfer
Chelsea have been the busiest EPL club in this transfer window after the ban last summer.
So far, the West London side have completed the signings of Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner, Ben Chilwell, Malang Sarr and Thiago Silva and now are still eyeing more big deals.
Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga might be having a shock u-turn on his future at Chelsea- after some recent signings at the back- but one man who is almost certain to leave is Emerson Palmieri.
The left-back has failed to make an impact in his two-and-a-half years in west London and now looks set to move back to Italy.
Since his transfer to England, the ex-Roma man has made just 30 Premier League appearances and 55 overall, with Marcos Alonso, more often than not, picked ahead of him.
Emerson’s representative, Fernando Garcia, believes Inter Milan are currently a possible destination but a deal is yet to be struck.
“It is possible he will leave Chelsea,” he told FCInter08. “I have not yet spoken to the club. All I can say is that there is interest from Inter in the player. We’ll see.”
Tiemoue Bakayoko is in talks to end his Chelsea nightmare and sign for AC Milan.
Sky Sports in Italy report that the midfielder, 26, is close to joining the Italian club where he spent the 2018/19 season on loan.
It’s understood that signing the Frenchman is a priority for Milan, as they look to build themselves into being one of Europe’s top clubs again.
They’re also understood to be interested in Brahim Diaz and Sandro Tonali.
Bakayoko joined the Blues in 2017 after winning Ligue 1 with Monaco but has been a disaster at Stamford Bridge.
It’s understood Chelsea want around £27million for Bakayoko.
